Process description

Erythritol is produced by starch fermentation. It has advantages of sufficient raw material source, easy process, low cost and safety. Erythritol is a new nutritive sweetener, which is characterized by good thermal stability, low moisture absorption, low freezing point, and widely used in the field of food, medicine, cosmetics, chemicals and so on. Erythritol is derived from the mash which is originated from fermentation of wheat and corn starch, passes several process such as pasteurization, filtration, ion exchange resin, active carbon, ultrafiltration and purification, crystallization, washing and drying.
